Painted Jessica

So this is a picture of a friend of mine. I used photoshop to paint over her. I used the eyedropper to sample the colors, and then toggled back and forth between that and the brush tool. Occasionally I used the rub tool, but not much. The finished product looks a little like the water color filter that takes two seconds in photoshop, but this seems more rewarding. I've seen comic book guys use this same technique so I thought I would try it out. I got to admit...I'm pleased, and I think it has kind of another world-ly feel even though it's based on something from this world.
I must admit, I finished the whole face in 23 minutes, but the background took me longer.

The picture looks pretty standard when viewed this small, but you can

Okay...I'm assuming that the above post is spam blogging...ie...splogging. He took a second it seems to actually write something, but...what the ***?

By the way I really like this, I have done this techinque in the past and I appricate what goes into it to create it, it takes alot of work. Plus the girl is really good looking, that always helps.
